ago, the methods of measuring common parameters were on
opposite ends of the spectrum. At one end you had pH litmus
paper, test kits & other methods with poor resolution.

complicated equipment, which gave high resolution, but were

pHep® in 1986. This pocket meter replaced litmus paper

4-Ring
Technology Water-Resistant, Portable, ATC, Conductivity Meter
|
The HI 9130
is specifically designed for accurate measurement of conductivity
in the typically humid conditions of the food industry.
The water-resistant casing protects the circuitry from condensation,
the main cause of damage to the electronics, and it can
also be cleaned as often as you like. The latest in advanced
sensor technology has been employed in developing the HI
91930. Unlike conventional meters with dual sensor probes,
the 4-ring potentiometric method used in the Hi 9130 provides
high accuracy over the meter's entire range from 0 up to
199,900 uS/cm. This makes it possible to measure solutions
ranging from clean water to brine with a single conductivity
probe or cell constant. Furthermore, all conductivity measurements
are automatically corrected for the temperature effect.
