|
|
Carver
has incorporated more than 85 years of experience in laboratory
presses into this line of automatic electrically powered benchtop
presses for today's labs. Each has a built-in hydraulic system
with a microprocessor control for accurate programmable operation.
Four models are available ranging in clamp force from 15 to
30 tons, including two- or four-column models. All have integral
safety enclosures with a clear front door for operator safety
and observation.

A
complete line of automatic electrically powered benchtop
presses for the laboratory or manufacturing facility
Digital
("D") Control Description:
The
Digital ("D") control system controls the desired
pressure, speed and dwell time, and displays the press status.
The following features are included with the Digital ("D")
version:
The normal
operating cycle consists of closing the press with the dual
"anti-tie-down" buttons and building force to the
selected setpoint for a predetermined dwell time, and eventually
opening the press after the integral has expired.
Programmable
("P") Control Description:
The programmable
("P") control system includes all the features of
the "D" control system plus allows for step programming
of segments, or events, throughout the cycle. The following
additional features are included.
- Twenty
(20) programmable segments per recipe
- Ten
(10) recipe storage of temperature, pressure and time
settings
- Optional
automatic water cooling and air purge
|
The normal
operating cycle consists of closing the press with the dual
"anti-tie-down" buttons and building force to the
selected setpoint of the first segment of the recipe, maintaining
this setpoint for the dwell time specified for that segment;
repeating this cycle of building or maintaining force for
the other segments, and eventually opening the press.
Platen
temperature can also be adjusted for each segment of the recipe
as part of the "Programmable" control system.
