Operating Stand OS-1The Rex OS-1 Operating Stand is the ideal tool for repetitive or lab-type testing for users who must test either very large specimens, or test in a number of different durometer scales. The Rex OS-1 Operating Stand, used in conjunction with a Rex durometer eliminates the operator error sometimes associated with shop floor durometer testing. The stand features a floating pin and includes the proper load weights required for testing in durometer scales (A, B, C, D, DO, O, OO, OOO, and E), as noted in ASTM D2240. The OS-1 can accommodate specimens varying in size from a ¼: to 10 inches thick. (custom stands for testing larger specimens available).
For models 1600, 1700, 2000, DD-3, and DD-4 Types A, B, C, D, DO, O, OO, OOO, and E

Operating Stand OS-2 for types A, B and ORex Gauge Co. introduces the OS-2 compact operating stand for durometers in the A, B, O and E scales. The stand, used in conjunction with a Rex Durometer, eliminates operator error sometimes associated with shop floor durometer testing. The stand features a load weight for the proper testing pressure as noted in ASTM D2240, and a quick-lock column for easy adjustment.

Operating Stand OS-3Rex Gauge Co. introduces the OS-3 compact operating required for the operation of durometers in the M scale (as per ASTM D2240). The stand, used in conjunction with a Rex Durometer, eliminates operator error sometimes associated with shop floor durometer testing. The stand features a load weight for the proper testing pressure as noted in ASTM D2240, a quick-lock column for easy adjustment plus a dampening feature. The dampener lowers the durometer at the same rate for each test, resulting in superior repeatability for all durometer tests. It can be used with either the provided specimen holder or the optional Rex Model ORF-1 O-Ring Fixturing Set (sold separately).

Operating Stand OS-4 for types OO, OOORex Gauge Co. introduces the OS-4 compact operating stand for durometers in the OO and OOO scales. The stand, used in conjunction with a Rex Durometer, eliminates operator error sometimes associated with shop floor durometer testing. The stand features a load weight for the proper testing pressure as noted in ASTM D2240, and a quick-lock column for easy adjustment.

Model OS-AUTO Operating StandThe Rex Model OS-AUTO Type 3 Automatic Operating Stand provides constant load, controlled rate of descent, and application velocity, through a geared electric motor and braking mechanism that alternately lowers the durometer onto the specimen and then raises it in preparation for the next test. This OS-AUTO also provides an electronic timer that can adjust the amount of time the durometer remains in the lowered position (dwell time). The durometer and carriage assembly have a mass sufficient for use with Types A, B and O. The incorporation of the large detachable mass is required for testing with Type C, D and DO durometers. This detachable mass can be purchased separately. The OS-AUTO can also be configured for use with durometer Types OO, OOO and OOO-S. Adjustment of the durometer for specimen thickness is easily accomplished by a height adjusting knob on the top of the stand.

Bowling Test FixtureThe OS-5 Bowling Ball Test Fixture was designed for bowlers and pro shops that wanted an alternative to large, expensive test stands. Because of its small size and light weight the OS-5 is a truly portable instrument. The OS-5 positions any Rex type "D" durometer perpendicular to the ball for accurate and easy testing, thus minimizing the potential for human error. |

Bowling Operating StandThe Rex Durometer Operating Stand for Bowling Balls is designed to give accurate, fast and repeatable durometer readings. It simplifies and automates the procedure, thus minimizing the amount of time necessary to take large numbers of durometer readings. It eliminates the possibility of human error in taking durometer readings and works on the constant load principle. The stand is designed to insure that the axis of the durometer is in perfect alignment with the axis of the bowling ball. The durometer is lowered smoothly, by using a lever, into the surface of the bowling ball to produce a perfect reading every time. Features:
