BAT1000 BOND ABRASION TESTERThe Bond Abrasion Tester is a process and laboratory machine, which is designed to determine the abrasion index of a mineral sample to be determined in accordance with F.C. Bond´s abrasion test method. The Bond Abrasion Tester utilizes an electrically driven drum and rotating abrasion paddle. The mineral sample is lifted by a mesh drum liner and dropped on to the steel paddle, which rotates in the same direction. The paddle is made to exacting standards of material and size and two square inches of this is exposed to wear. After running the test, the weight loss of the paddle is noted in grams, this represents the Abrasion Index (Ai) of the material. |

LAB WIZZ 320 MICRO BALL MILLThe Lab Wizz 320 Micro Ball Mill is a laboratory machine, which is suitable for milling and homogenizing soft, fibrous, hard and brittle materials in the dry and wet state. It is used for fast, super fine milling of 2 samples simultaneously from 0.2 ml up to 160 ml. The closed milling system guarantees complete recovery of the samples. Owing to the extremely short milling time and the high final fineness of the milled material, the Lab Wizz 320 Micro Ball Mill is also ideally suitable for sample preparation for all spectral analyses. Final finenesses of down to 1 μm can be achieved, depending on the milling time and the specific properties of the sample material. The optimum milling cup filling is as a rule 1/3 of the milling cup volume. Exceptions to this are voluminous materials, such as wool, leaves, grasses and suchlike. In these cases a filling level of 70-80% is necessary.

LMBRM BALL AND ROD MILLThe Ball and Rod Mill type LMBRM is a process and laboratory machine, which is suitable for milling and homogenizing soft, fibrous, hard and brittle materials in dry and wet phase. The LMBRM is suitable for normal and Bond grinding, depending on the (size) drum. Because the machine has a changeable opening, different sizes of drums can be fitted in the machine. With a manual and automatic operating system it is suitable for many applications. With changeable time, rotation and speed settings the LMBRM can be fully set to your requirements. The drum lifting device insures that the lifting and positioning is easy. The device has two guide-openings at the bottom receiving the wheels to ensure that the lifting device is positioned correctly releasing the drum in the machine. The drum lifting device comes with a foot paddle and a lowering knob to reducing the physical load to a minimum. |

PLANETARY BALL MILLLaarmann’s Planetary Ball Mill has, unlike other similar machines, four positions where up to eight 500ml grinding jars can be placed. Each grinding jar needs to be filled with a right combination of grinding balls in order to guarantee the best results. Like in a planetary system the grinding jars rotate on a orbit around the center. This rotational movement is the self-rotation of the grinding container. The resulting centrifugal and acting acceleration forces lead to a strong grinding effect. Furthermore there are forces working according to the Coriolis acceleration. The result is an intensive grinding effect between the grinding balls and the sample. Depending on the speed ratio different movement patters of the grinding balls / media can be achieved. CM100 CUTTING MILLThe CM1000 Cutting Mill is used to grind solid materials such as rubber, plastic, wood, foils and many other materials. The processing material falls into the cutting chamber via a guide chute and is shredded by cutting between rotating and fixed knives until it passes an attached sieve as ground product. The sieve extends over the lower half of the grinding chamber and can be changed easily. Final particle size is determined by the selected sieve perforation aperture. When the grinding process is finished the grinding chamber is fully accessible by unscrewing two hand screws and folding back the feeding hopper. The grinding chamber is fully accessible for quick and easy cleaning.

CM4000 CUTTING MILLThe CM4000 Cutting Mill is used by laboratories and processing companies for cutting granulate solid materials such as waste, wood and thermoplastics.
The material to be processed falls into the cutting chamber of the Cutting Mills via a guide chute. Than the product is shredded between rotating and fixed knives. The product passes the sieve as soon as its reached the desired size. The sieve extends over the lower half of the grinding chamber and can be changed easily. Final particle size is determined by the selected sieve perforation aperture. When the grinding process is finished the grinding chamber is fully accessible for quick and easy cleaning by unscrewing two hand screws and folding back the infeed hopper. |
